The Battle

Hello and welcome to tonights event. There has been a lot of drama leading up to this night and I'm sure everyone is excited to see how it will turn out. The reigning champion (and fan favorite) Procrastination will be taking on long time nemesis Homework. After four long years of complete domination by Procrastination, Homework seems to finally be putting up a good fight and, in my opinion, will not give up easily in tonights battle. Lets take a look at the stats for tonights combatants.

Procrastination a.k.a. The Flaming Hawk
Total Wins: 525
Total Losses: 15
Best Win Streak: 319
Finest Moment: Not starting writing a paper until 4 in the morning after playing Medal of Honor all night and finishing paper 5 minutes before it was time to present in class.
Greatest Strength: Lotsa fun

Homework a.k.a The Fart Knocker
Greatest Strength: Properly prepares one for assignments and tests.
Greatest Weakness: Boring
Finest Moment: Nothing comes to mind

Well isn't that interesting, Procrastination shows all the markings of being lots more fun than Homework. But Homework does show signs of being "worth it in the long run". I tell ya, I can't wait to see the outcome of this, Bob.

Bob: Neither can I, Jim. Back to you.

Thanks, Bob. We'll be right back after these important messages.

Food.

Today, instead of going to the Wheaton football game I decided to stay in the apartment and eat junk food. Kit-Kats have got to be my favorite thing ever. Jack's frozen pepperoni pizzas come in at a close second. But if we're talking in ORDER that they are eaten, then it's Kit-Kats that come in second. You can't eat a candy bar and then wolf down a whole pizza. Chocolate is a dessert, not an appetizer. An ideal meal for me would start with a couple of Slim Jim Mild Beef Jerky snacks washed down with some nice smooth Minute Maid Lemonade. That really gets my appetite roaring. I then preheat the oven to 425 degrees and throw in a Jacks Pizza. While I'm waiting for the pizza to cook I might have a couple of handfulls of Cool Ranch Doritos. But the pizza only takes about 10 minutes to cook, so it's a very manageable wait. Once the pizza is cut I let it cool for a minute or two and check the fridge to see what I'll have to drink. Milk is pretty good, but I prefer Mug Root Beer. But really, anything'll do. Except water. Ugh, don't drink water with ANY meal. That's just wrong. Anyway, in order to eat the entire pizza I have to pace myself. Once it gets down to three pieces left I take a 5 minute break to let my stomach catch up with me. Some people might say that instead of taking a break I should just stop entirely and put the remaining pieces in the fridge for the next day. And to THAT I say, "For sooth!". DO I LOOK LIKE THE TYPE OF GUY THAT EATS PIZZA THAT'S BEEN IN THE FRIDGE ALL NIGHT? Pizza is to be eaten fresh! Well, I don't know how "fresh" Jacks Frozen Pizzas are, but still. You gotta draw the line somewhere. Where was I? I don't even know. All I'm really trying to say here is that Kit-Kats are good. Nothing else I've written matters. At all.

Using a Thesarus

Man oh man, I'm pretty tired right now. Well, more burned out than anything. I don't think I've ever been this haggard in my life. I just feel so petered out and pooped. I was walking down the street and I heard someone say, "Look at that boy, he looks so stale and spent." Their friend responded by saying, "I guess so, but I think he looks more weary and wasted." I turned to them and yelled, "I'm tuckered out, okay?!" Goodness, some people just don't know how to treat someone as drained as I am. If I were to use one word to sum up how I feel it would probably be exasperated. But also a little droopy. Fatigued works pretty well too. Maybe if I get a good nights sleep my brain won't feel so overtaxed. Yeah, that's what I'll do. I'll put an end to feeling drowsy and get some sleep. Sleep always makes me feel energized and fresh, but most of all it makes me feel invigorated.

Peter Pan

Wow, Neverland just keeps sounding cooler and cooler as time goes by. Peter Pan has got it MADE. If I'm ever given three wishes 1st I would wish to have only 2 wishes, then I would wish to be able to fly and then I would wish to never grow old. Or better yet, if I was given three wishes I would wish for just one wish and wish to go to Neverland. Of course, Middle Earth would be pretty tempting to go to. And I would LOVE to go to Hogwarts. Say maybe I would keep the three wishes after all and go to those three places.

Well. This is pretty self explanatory I guess.

Hey. You can't expect the world to change over night.

Lib ra ree

Man, Wheaton Public Library has the coolest looking library cards. It makes wanna come here everyday to get books just so I can go, "Why yes, I do have a library card." Nah, anyway, I'm at the library right now using their computers because something is messed up with our internet at the apartment. So messed up to the point that it just doesn't work. But oh well. You can never eat your lunch out in the sun without at least a couple flies bothering you. You know what I mean? Maybe that's a little confusing. Ummm...You can never punch a stupid kid in the face without at least a couple people telling on you. No, that ones worse. You can never own an apartment without the internet going down at least a couple times. THERE it is!

Later!

Something new

Well, today I did something I've never done before. I went through all my photos and picked out the ones I liked best and made a little video out of it. HOPEFULLY I can put that video in this post. I'm guessing it'll work but ya never know. Sorry the pictures go by so fast but there are a lot of them and I didn't want to make the video too long.

Observe and Enjoy!

Here goes...

Hi. Welcome back to my blog. I haven't used this thing for a while now. Over a year now that I think about it. Crazy, time is flying by. Flying like a big dumb rooster. So I've decided not to let that rooster get away from me. Not this time! I'ma get out my shotgun and shoot that thing right in the neck and eat it for dinner! Basically what I'm trying to say is that I've realized life happens EVERY DAY and if you're not careful years will fly by like nothing and you'll forget what you're doing and how you got to wherever you are. So I'm doing this. Blogging that is. I'm gonna use this little treat of a website every once and a while to write down what's happening in my life. It will be cool to look back and read everything and hopefully have a nice little flashback of what life was like when I was living in Wheaton with Jaron and attending the College of DuPage.

WHICH IS WHAT I'M DOING RIGHT NOW! It's dang awesome. My classes are awesome, my brother is cool and my bedroom window is open letting mosquitoes in. Life ain't perfect man. K, so check it out. I'm not just gonna ramble on forever about nothing. I've got some pictures to show!

So I went to Chicago today because a voice popped into my head and said, "Going to Chicago today is a GREAT idea. Trust me." And said, "Oh, I trust you, voice. I trust you. First let me brush my teeth." Anyway, I got to Chicago and wandered around until I reached Millenium Park and saw THIS! (look below) It's a good thing I brought my camera. How often do you come across a buncha dudes walking around in kilts? Not too often in my opinion. But it's pretty standard issue when you attend the Celtic Festival! Man, it was crazy.

These dudes seemed pretty sweet. But check this out.

Yeah, and look what else was there.

A freaking sweet fountain! K, that has nothing to do with the Celtic Festival. But I liked it. If you want to see more Celtic Festival picture I suggest you come to Chicago and take them yourself. It's takes WAY too long to upload pictures on here so I'll finish just finish up this little post with woyds. I mean....words.

Well there it is. It's late so forgive my randomness. But if I keep up this whole "blogging" business you just might see realize that the hour of day never determines whether or not a new post will be random. So yeah. That's that.

I'm looking forward to Christmas. Is too early to say that? Maybe I'll wait until we're a little closer to Thanksgiving.
